Reserving a private bonfire site is the perfect way to celebrate Fall on the Farm! Sites are close to all of our pumpkin festival activities, yet provide a place to gather with friends and family in a semi-private setting.

September Weekends and Fridays:
$85/ bonfire site for 3 hours for up to 25 people

October Weekends:
$100/ bonfire site for 3 hours for up to 25 people

  • For groups larger than 25, please book multiple sites.
  • Please Note: Admission to Pinehaven Farm is not included in the rental fee and is required for all guests ages 3 and older. Admission tickets must be purchased online.

Bonfire Site Rental Policies

  • Bonfire sites are great for both large and small groups. Our staff members will start your fire and supply you with wood, picnic tables and benches to sit on. You may bring in cake or cupcakes and water, but NO alcohol.
  • No food may be cooked over the bonfire, except for S’mores included in the Bonfire package.
  • One S’mores box included per bonfire site.
  • Each site accommodates up to 25 people.
  • Electricity is NOT available at any bonfire sites.

NOW INCLUDED in your bonfire rental! Convenient and ready to go S’mores Box to add a tasty treat to your event! Each box makes 15-20 S’mores. Includes Graham Crackers, Hershey’s Chocolate, Marshmallows, and Roasting Sticks.

Bonfire Rentals FAQ’s

Do I need to purchase tickets for my group online?

Yes, everyone in your party must buy tickets online to be admitted to the farm. You may also buy group tickets if your group has 20 or more people and distribute them after purchase for check in at the farm.

There are several ways your guests can be admitted to the farm once you buy online tickets. 

Option 1: You can print out the individual tickets and give them to your guests prior to your arrival at the farm. 

Option 2: You can send the QR code that you receive via text or email to your guests via text or email for check in. One QR code will pull up all of the tickets in your order. Please instruct your guests as to how many tickets they are allotted to check in. 

If Chicago County is under a Red Flag Warning or conditions are too dry and windy to safely start a fire, you may move your bonfire site date up to 48 hours in advance as space allows. 

In these conditions, we will still have your Bonfire Site available for your group, but we will not be allowing fires to be lit in the bonfire pit. 

You may enter the farm at anytime during the day, but your bonfire pit won’t be available until your designated reserved time.

 

Pinehaven Farm does not allow food to be cooked over a bonfire pit. You are however allowed to bring in cake, cupcakes, and water, but no alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the farm.

Each bonfire pit rental can hold up for 25 people. If you have more than 25 guests you can rent a second bonfire pit. Bonfire pit rentals may be available for purchase at the admission office on a first come first serve basis on the day of the event or you can rent another bonfire pit online in advance.

Guest admission tickets can be purchased online on our website. If purchasing 20 or more tickets online, you can qualify for the group rate. Additional tickets can only be added in quantities of 20 or more of the group rate. 

You may decorate as much or as little as you like, however, we do not allow any decorations to be taped, stapled or nailed to any of our tables, buildings or trees. Also, silly string, confetti, piñatas, streamers, shredded stuffing, glass containers and whistles are prohibited as they all pose choking hazards to our animals should the debris end up in our pens.

Unfortunately once a reservation is made there are no refunds on the cost of the Bonfire Rental or S’mores Boxes ordered. We can switch your date up to 72 hours in advance as space allows at no charge. Please email us at info@pinehavenfarm.com to update your reservation.

The Farm generally remains open during periods of light rain. Should it become necessary to close the Farm after your bonfire pit rental time has started due to lightening or prolonged periods of heavy downpours lasting more than 30-minutes, then each paid party guest will receive a rain-check to visit the farm another day at their convenience during the same season.

If there is a high probability of heavy storms on the day of your rental, then you may request to reschedule your bonfire pit rental for another day up to 48-hours in advance of your event. Please email us with weather related requests to reschedule.

Pinehaven Farm does not have any grills for rent nor do we allow grills to be brought onto the property.
